Our Privacy Policy

Privacy matters.

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is an important piece of legislation designed to strengthen and unify data protection. It became effective and enforceable on May 25, 2018. While it explicitly protects European Union residents, its impact is global.

Consentric Marketing is fully committed to complying with the GDPR.

While the EU is resolved to protect the privacy of all personal data, other countries such as the USA currently oppose the GDPR, despite widespread concerns about data privacy among its citizens.

It is our view that GDPR compliance is wise marketing. If your customers want data privacy then, by all means, oblige them! More importantly, GDPR compliance is an ethical choice that speaks to who you want to be as a company … what you stand for and believe in. Strategically, GDPR challenges companies to become more customer-centric and to broadly embrace what we call Consentric Marketing.

Data Collection

  • When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

  • We collect and retain the information submitted in the contact form. We use security measures to prevent all outside, unauthorized access to our contact data files.

  • We use Google Analytics and WP Statistics for site analytics. As best we can tell, these two tools follow the GDPR compliance schedule. For further details, click here:  Google Analytics or WP Statistics

  • We track basic site activity to enhance your site experience. For example, we record if you subscribe to our mailing list or accept our privacy policy.

Data Sharing

  • We share all comments left on our site. That is all. We do not share your contact information with any other organization, and we use security measures to protect the privacy of your data.

  • You may ask us to remove any comments you have posted or your name from our email list. Just send us an email.

  • Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service.
