C. Scott Hamilton is a communications leader with Fortune 500, medium business, government, consulting, and agency experience. He has a proven record of accomplishment throughout a multifaceted career.
For most of his career, Scott has been focused on corporate communications, including public, investor, and analyst relations; employee communications; and reputation management.
Uniquely, he was embroiled in two of the nation’s largest disasters. As the leader of investor relations at WorldCom during its financial fraud discovery and its subsequent tumble into bankruptcy, and then, as a key public information officer for the State of Mississippi during Hurricane Katrina, he has been at the center of the most extreme communication crises imaginable.
Scott is also a partner in Mount Royal Energy Group, a company dedicated to helping increase the efficiency of HVAC systems using proven, patented technologies—helping fight human-induced climate change.
Scott holds a BBA degree in Management from the Iowa State University and an MBA in International Business from George Washington University.
